Cincinnati PCC Committees, Members and Responsibilities

Postal Co-Chair (Darryl Myers)   

·        Preside over any meetings that the Industry Co-Chair cannot attend

·        Attend all meetings representing the USPS

Industry Co-Chair (Mark Hale)  

·        Preside at all meetings

·        Approve all disbursements

·        Sign all contracts and agreements

·        Provides oversight to all committees

Industry Vice-Chair (Glen Perry)  

·        Committee Chair for Programs Committee

·        Assume role of Industry Co-Chair in the event the position is vacated before end of term

Audit, Budget and Compliance  (Chair Anna Knue, Dave Shephard)

·        To annually audit the CPCC budget and all money transactions to assure compliance with standard accounting principles.

·        Reviews By-Laws to ensure they respond to the needs of the mailing community and PCC objectives

·        Distribute By-Laws to membership and observe parliamentary procedure

Public Affairs (Chair Connie Burns, BarryHargreaves, Kathy Seim, Charlotte Morrow, Angie Ingram, Mark Hale & Rick Thompson)

·        Organizes Newsletter, press releases, and photos. 

·        Manage Social Media Networking.

·        Effectively transmit industry information in a timely manner to the membership of the CPCC. This will be accomplished through the publication of a member newsletter three (3) times a year which covers such topics as: postal changes and regulations, notification of seminars and activities, National Postal Forum, local and national personnel changes, and member recognition and accomplishments

·        Promote and inform both the mailing community and the public at large of activities and accomplishments of the CPCC

·        Maintain website content, coordinate with all committees

·        Coordinates community service efforts

Regulations & Postal Changes (Chair –USPS Representative, Dave Overley, Darryl Meyer, Eddie Williams, Connie Burns & Kathy Seim)

·        Focus on current USPS events, requirements and regulation changes

·        Inform the CPCC membership of any postal rules, regulations, or items of interest that could impact mailers. 

Programs Committee (Chair –Glen Perry, Gary Wheeler, Connie Compton, Charlotte Morrow, Theresa Floyd, Ellen Noble, Angie Ingram, Dave Frye, Kathy Bunch & Kathy Seim)

·        Design programs that are beneficial to all member of the CPCC.  Responsible for program registration functions including issuing of bills and receipts, selection of meeting place and menu. 

·        Postal Seminars and events

·        Organizes educational meetings, establishes topics, and secures speakers

·        Recognition and Rewards

·        Coordinates with other committees

·        Organizes special events outside of the scope of membership meetings  

Membership & Contributions Committee (Chair Susie Flinchum, Anna Knue, Eddie Williams, Kathy Bunch, Dave Overley, Angie Ingram, Connie Compton, Mark Hale & Ellen Noble)

·        Seeks new members

·        Coordinates with Public Affairs Committee on Social Media Networking

·        Member Database

·        Solicits, nomination of council members, screens applications, prepares balloting material, and handles elections
